    Price of shoes in China

I visited a warehouse of shoes distributor. He is an importer from China and is selling shoes for 3-4 Eur per pair. I wonder how much does he pay for them in China. It should be something like no more than 2Eur per pair. Does that sound real?

How the hell is he getting shoes from china for 3-4euro? I've been buying from china and ive been buying Nikes that retail for $80-90 for $40usd. It's not logical to be getting them for $3-4euro unless their crap shoes.

Its not brand shoes like NIke or whatever. Its regular no name shoes you can buy at supermarkets (wallmart etc). And he is not getting at that price, he is selling at the price.

if the quantities are large enough it is possible, however, he can't be marking them up very high. Has he set a MOQ? Careful buying name brand shoes from China. Very good chance they are bootleg.

Is there any chance at all that they aren't bootleg. I dunno, i stay away from name brands, however, I dont see how it would be possible to purchase anything from china that isnt knockoff, b/c what company is going to send you to china to buy their products. even if they are made in china im sure the distributors purchase directly from the company based in the US, in which cae the products may be shipped from china, however, no contact is made with the chinese by the buyer..
