Predict 5 Businesses Who Will Go Out of Business in 2010
(Out of business = go bankrupt, get bought out, liquidate themselves, etc.)

    Here are my predictions...
    1. Chrysler
    2. Sears/K-mart
    3. Sprint
    4. Office Depot
    5. Toys-R-Us

I never claimed to have one, but if i did make one it wouldn't be anything close to that. Your first chose was already bought out earlier this year.

    Name names. I did.
100 US banks failed in 2009. Chances are 70-80 will fail in 2010.

I am going to have to disagree on all of your selections.

    Here are mine:

--Borders (The are already shuttering their WaldenBooks division.) Borders is a stagnant company, dead in the water.

--Blockbuster Video (Won't disappear as a brand, but the brick-and mortar part will slowly die in favor if the kiosk model popularized by RedBox.)

--One of the major cell phone manufacturers will either get out of the business or be acquired - not sure which though...Motorola perhaps? or Palm?

All I have for now is these 3...

I think you are right about Blockbuster for sure. They were getting killed by Netflix & and now Redbox too.
