Prebuilt Business Systems

Hi everyone,


I am sure a good portion of you have read the book E-Myth. If you haven't I can't recommend it enough.

In the book Gerber talks about systemizing your business to make growth a lot easier. I am currently in the situation of looking to grow a business quickly. I want to document all of my processes and procedures. However I feel that a lot of them ( eg accounting, hiring, internet usage policy ) are pointless to write myself since its the same in most companies. Instead of reinventing the wheel I am looking for a prebuilt systems document to cover most of the generic work done in a company. Something that I can add and change to suite my needs.

Anyone out there know where I could find this info, document, handbook, operations manual? Anything would help to save a great deal of time!

This would be interesting to me as I'm trying to build my operating procedures from scratch. Unless you buy a franchise, I see each business having to go it alone. Perhaps you could go in as a consultant and help document their procedures for them

hmmm.. I always joke that I wish running a business came with a manual. I'm not sure that I would be willing to trade off my experience in starting a company for free. Its taken a lot of time and money to learn the lessons I have learned building my company. If you do find a book like this please let me know...
