    Pre-Launch Site Review

I figured I'd have better luck posting here than in the site review forum, sooooo:

A few weeks ago you all did me a huge favor by reviewing my retail sites splash page. The suggestions offered were great and will be implemented as loose ends are being tied up for the next phase of the launch of the entire site in another few weeks.

The current phase is about 85-90% completed. This was work being done on the main site and blog section itself. I would appreciate a review of our progress thus far. Please take a look and tell me what you think as far as design, usability, etc., as well as any issues you may have viewing it browsers other than IE, Firefox, and Chrome (It was designed to work best in these three).

Most of it is dummy text and sample products to show how the cart and other aspects are supposed to work. Certain parts require a login, so I created a test user profile for you all to use in reviewing.

    User Name: testuser
    Password: testuser11

Link to login: Log In - LE-RAQ.com
    Site itself: LE-RAQ.com

Thanks again! Please let me know if you have any difficulty.

Your website looks great but as far as the usability of your website is concerned, it is bit clumsy. I find it really difficult to gather information and while navigate your website. You need to add a menu so that people can click on that and make sure a search box is there so that people would not have to toil hard while collating information.

Could you be a little more specific as to how/where navigation was clumsy?

I like it, has a nice magazine feel to it. Only question I might raise is that all the text seems 'squashed' in if that makes sense. Might be worth looking at line and word spacings.
