PR-WEB , anybody used them?

Hi guys,
As I understand, PRWEB are basically the largest pr distributors on the Internet.
In their testimonies, they do promise something within 100'000 visitors, but had anybody actually worked with them? Did they bring such results?

It's so hard to say. The stats showed well over 100,000 but I always hear that those numbers are misleading. I will tell you that the PR generated enough extra sales to pay for the release, a large amount of buzz, and great SEO boost.

At a previous company, I wrote a lengthy press release about a new product - welding oxygen analyzer - I distributed it through PRWeb and was instantly moved to the top of the search engines (keep in mind this is a small market). I also received a fair amount of inquiries and sales that would often reference the press release.

I think I paid about $150 at the time.

I would definetly use them again, in fact I am currently working on a press release for my new company, we will see how it goes.

I think that I ended up paying about $250. This was back in November and people are still referencing that press release today. I really believe that this made the difference in becoming a PR4 instead of PR3 during the last Google update.

Like I said, the release eventually paid itself off through extra sales. The price tag is steep, but in my experience I certainly got what I paid for.

I have used PR Web in the past, several time. The results depend on how much you pay for the distribution service; the more you pay, the better the results. Typically, you have to pay above US$150 to get noticed.

To be honest, I have not found any free PR distribution services that produce good results.

yeah the $150 option works well for me plus your getting backlinks to google and some other major news networks.

but its really the content of your PR news and making it sound important...i have seen some crumby products do really well because their pr story was so good.

of 'Knocked Up' but haven't had any experience writing a Press
Release... is there anywhere where I can get one reviewed or
does anyone write them on this forum?
