    Pop up bake sales

Ok so i was just kinda looking to bounce ideas off this forum and would love any input on this idea.

So i am really good at making baked goods. I was on springwise.com and saw a phenomenal idea of having a pop up bake sale. Basically you set up a bake sale at random places around town and you make a website and on it you give hints about where the next one will be. It gives the customers a sense of adventure while giving them delectable treats. I am thinking about starting a venture like this and was wondering if it is possible to expand this idea to a grander scale such as supplying to local stores and so on.

Once again any input is greatly appreciated

    This is an awesome idea!

Grocery stores would totally digg it. Biggest challenge would be to get the attention and the traffic...hmm

Yeah i was thinking about getting a grocery store to maybe pick up my item. THe only problem is, as you said, generating traffic and attention. Any ideas of how to do this?

And once i do get traffic, how would i get a grocery store to pick it up?

Well the proof is in the pudding. If you can illustrate that you have an audience and action on a website...any one will be willing to pay for it.

Question....are you only looking to do it through your local grocery stores, or are you looking to do it nationally?

I would need to understand this first...to then help you figure out a marketing/implementation strategy...because obviously the strategies will be different depending on how you want to dominate the market.

Well of course i would love to take it nationally. I was assuming that i would need to bring it up through local grocery stores first but i guess im wrong lol.

Like i am very serious about this idea but I just have no idea how I would go about getting it at the local or national level.

So figuring that I want to take it nationally eventually what would be the best route of implementation?
