Is anyone doing poker affiliate stuff?

I am considering it although it is completely saturated.

Fortunately I have a lot of kick-ass ideas for offline promotion, which seems the best way to go at the moment.

I did it... Made some good money, but I just got everyone from offline promoting...

I do this every month, was easier when I started since I had alot of high volume friends who signed with me. Pretty lucrative right now. That and I play poker as well.

I'm up 12k in Poker since January 7th. However, as of June 7th it is now illegal to play online poker in Washington. I'd be interested in doing this - however offline advertising would be impossible in the area considering its now illegal. If you're not familiar with IRC - that is a great way to advertise to the masses.

Its illegal to play or advertise for in all 50 states my friend. It's called the wire act. Thats why the companies only advertise as a .net With that said, no one has gotten iin trouble for playing or being an affiliate, but because of the wire act and a couple other rules, it is a felony to do so...

I have a poker affiliate site also. It is a very tough industry because the competition is crazy. Right now it is more of a hobby, even though I put a lot of time into my site every day. I don't expect it to make me rich, but if I can make a few bucks and learn some great stuff then it is all worth it.
