I am a web programmer with 12 years of experience, working on technology projects for very small to fortune 10 companies.

Drupal and Wordpress are two technologies I work with a lot. Not because I love it, I prefer custom development from inception, but these frameworks are what's hot right now.

I have seen quite a few folks on this forum request the need for Wordpress templates, setup, "scripts" to setup social networks, etc. I generally charge starting at $500.00 for a very basic installation/configuration of Wordpress or Drupal, and most Drupal projects span 2 - 15k (I tend to customize them way outside of the box). However, I could offer a guide for $20 that shows you step-by-step how to do this yourself.

This guide would tell you where to get the software you need, how to purchase the domain, setup the database, configure the application, install popular modules/extensions, etc., BUT step-by-step so it's easy. Because it could be sold online, it could also be updated and kept up to date rather easily.

So, my question here is:

1) Is there value for you in a guide like this?
2) What things should I make sure to be included in a guide like this?
3) Does this sound marketable to those that market with sites like clickbank?
4) Any other sites like clickbank where this could be marketed?
5) Would any one be willing to help test-run the guide?
