    Playing Nice on YE

This is a serious post. I'm just looking for a general opinion on a few things. These are STRICTLY my opinions. I'm looking for either support or criticism.

1- If you post on YE then you should expect that some feedback is going to be negative.

2- If you are going to make statements about your accomplishments then be able to back them up.

3- If you are going to make posts about fundamentals of business then you should be able to site your source.

    4- Never offer legal advice.

5- Speak from experience other readers can see right through most of your imaginations.

6- If you are not clear about what you are saying and someone calls you on that you should avoid getting defensive until you have cleared up the misunderstanding.

7- If you use bad grammar and/or poor spelling people on YE are not going to take you seriously.

Once again this is my opinion and nothing else. It just seems that as I respond to some peoples postings I have been rubbing them the wrong way. Let me know if I'm way off on my opinions.

i think it's a shame that this forum has turned into a never ending pissing contest between a bunch of rambling sociopaths and internet addicts

I agree to a certain extent.. however i do like to offer some advice from time to time.. of which i have learnt through uni... i mean.. it is a forum... take it or leave it... i'm not going to be spending half a day digging up references... additionally.. the forum poster can always ignore what someone says..

PS: akula.. your red these days? did u get a promotion

    "Playing Nice on YE"

This is all so hypocritical, this is a guy who argues with everyone, a guy who spent a few hours today arguing with a teenager half his age. How can he make a post like this one while arguing with a child in another thread?

I do not want to argue, I just think its a valid point that should be raised.

Do as I say not as I do.....

I do agree with the post, but you will always get people pissy at #1 and #5, because they think that they are right and whatever idea then have is the best idea ever since sliced bread.

Here is your prime example. Why even make this post, Nick? Nothing more to say.

Because he is being hypocritical and trying to impose rules on everybody else that he does not follow himself. How can he argue with teenagers in this forum while at the same time he is saying everybody should play nice. Excuse me if I see something wrong with that. There are a lot of double standards flying around here....

I’ve had plenty of bad ideas. Some of which I’ve posted on here and have received negative feedback. I’m starting to feel like an ass responding to some of the posts on here. Ugh… what ever

Maybe I should have put a “?” mark at the end of “Playing Nice on YE”. This wasn’t intended to be a guide. It’s a list of questions that I wanted others opinions on.

I’m not trying to impose rules as I have no power nor desire to do so.

I don't want to throw more gasoline on your fire of hatred for Roger, but I don't think that he was trying to impose rules on everyone so much as offering his opinion as to how he would prefer members conduct themselves.

My point was just that I felt your original post took the post in an entirely different direction than it needed to go. Someone offered their opinion on a topic, others responded regarding their opinions on the topic, and you came in and told the original poster that he was hypocritical and had no business posting on the topic.

Why don't we all just respond to posts and not to people?

You do realize you respond with a mightier than though attitude? As if you are the first person on Earth to turn 800k profit in a business or something.

You said to me that if you do not follow generic text book rules you are wrong and you will not make it. What are your sources on that wonderful piece of information?

I just ask that you do not try and set double standards. You want to argue with teenagers do it just don't make a posts about playing nice while doing so. I think thats fair....

Just reminds me.... years ago my dad, cigarette in one hand, wine glass in the other telling me not to drink or smoke.

Anyway fair enough, responding to posts and not posters is fair.

Just trying to provide my opinion on a public forum.

You said to me that if you do not follow generic text book rules you are wrong and you will not make it. What are your sources on that wonderful piece of information?
Please provide me with the thread where I made such a comment.

I just ask that you do not try and set double standards. You want to argue with teenagers do it just don't make a posts about playing nice while doing so. I think thats fair....
Please provide me with an example of a double standard. I don't recognize age only the ideas that are posted. If that person was 40 and made the same post they would have gotten the same response. I still can not understand what they are trying to do? Are they looking for an investor or are they looking for someone they can pay to do their web work.

I don't want to argue with people on this thread. I'm simply looking for everyones opinion on the topics I posted. If you would like to argue about something please call my ex-wife as I'm sure she'll be happy to run up your phone bill over petty bs....

Look I am not going to bother.

I just found it surprising that you, the guy who spends the majority of his time arguing with other members would even suggest 'playing nice'. Most of what I have seen from you is argumentative. It boggles my mind how you of all people can make a post on playing nice when you cause a lot of the problems yourself.

Anyway I couldn't be bothered, good luck..... sincerly
