    Pictures for website

Does anyone know a good site to get pictures to legally use on a website without having to deal with copyright issues?

iStockPhoto.com is expensive but they have some pretty good pictures. Just do a Google search for "business photos" or "website pictures". That should come up with some good stuff.

Your best bet would be to take the photos yourself, unless your physically unable to or don't have the resources.

i second istock. I use them for people who need brochures done but dont have the pics yet.

also crestock is another good one.
Sure beats having to set up a little studio to take pictures yourself. I have a 2000 dollar camera and I still try to take advantage of professional pictures on istock , crestock etc. Just less hassle

I always use Istockphoto.com. A while back I used to use freeimages.co.uk but they don't have as great of a selection. The money I pay at Istock is well worth it.

Another one is Flickr. Just be sure to email the person for approval before using the image commercially.

when you purchase an image... they are copyright and you are just buying a licence to use the image commercially... that's how it works unless you specfically buy the image... then the copyright can be transferred to you but that is a whole new kettle of fish and price
