    Phillipine products

    Hi,

I have a Phillipine friend and her father is a restaurant business owner in the Phillipines (entrepreneur). She has no interest in entrepreneurship, but I have talked to her in starting a business with Phillipine goods and selling in Canada.

What goods do the people of the Phillipines produce best, or what would you say would be a great ROI. She is open to talking to her dad about importing!

    Thanks
    Mike K

She can not get a lot of ROI on goods there with her own money because of the currency. But if you were to buy goods there you would make a load of money. My buddy is from the Philippines and he always stocks up on stuff when he goes over there.

So your saying taking USD and buying Philippine goods, or in other words, importing to North America would create a good profit margin when reselling in N. America. She is Canadian, as it is only her father who works in the Philippines. We would be using him for finding the right suppliers.

Do you know what your friend buys from the Philippines when he goes over there?

My buddy buys clothes. Usually lacoste. A lot of the stuff is fake, but some stuff is real, you just have to be careful. But its dirt cheap. With USD you make a huge profit.

I would stay away from the high end fashion stuff from the Philippines. If youve been there, a lot of places sell these items super cheap because theyre fake. You dont want to be the one getting caught for importing fake products.

This is true, a lot of stuff is fake. Either way, there is a lot of stuff you can get for a good price
