Post per lead or commission base marketing?

Affiliate Marketing: Percentage vs Per Lead | Ian Fernando

I am trying to see what you opinions are for affilaite marketing would you prefer percentage commission or per lead commission?

percetage is you get X% on the final sale whereas per lead you get X dollars per sign up

which do u think makes more money? or which is easier to gather more income?

I heard people are making lots of money with CPA's - I'm currently looking into it now.

This would depend on the price point for the item or service you are selling. If you are selling a $250 service you would maybe command a per lead basis. If you are selling $1500 vacuum cleaners you may have to pay a commission (Kirby's). Its all relative to the item or service.

It also depends how good sales skills you have. If you are confident to close at least 50% of the leads I would recommend to go per lead basis.
If your business is online, I would recommend Internet Marketing Center material as their visitor / sales conversion ratio has been even 45%. Basics I learned from them are:
1. You have 20-40 seconds to get visitors attention is the site relevant to the topic searched.
2. You should convinced step by step why he should buy.
3. You should give the oportunity to buy after each step.
4. If still not convinced, last chance is to capture the email when somebody is leaving the site. Otherwise its lost visitor.
With their tactics I would go per lead.
