Peanut Butter Company Name

Hey everyone,

I have an organic peanut butter and almond butter start-up getting off the ground. I have already got my business license and ordered some ingredients for inventory, but I am unsure about the name of the company. After much deliberation, I wrestled with some names and landed on GROUND. I think it sounds organic and straight forward to exactly what the product is. There are no added oils, fillers, or preservatives, etc... so I think Ground is fitting...

What do you guys think?

Don't be offended....... but I don't like it. It makes me think coffee. That is my first reaction.

But then I googled it and found out peanuts are also called groundnuts and earthnuts, i've never heard that. Now I like it more. The ground nut butter company... or ground! Any logo or packaging work you could show us to see if you change my mind? We all know packaging influences our decision as much or more than a name, and I think this might work with the right logo. Your design should reflect natural, strong and healthy since these nuts are known for protein and your image is all natural.

Just my opinion but i hope some of it helps.

I had a smilier idea for natural peanut butter until I found it had been done Whole Earth how are you planning to make yours? I was thinking of using one of those peanut crushers that they have in whole foods. As a name suggestion: nutter crunch?
