Payment/subscription service needed

Ok so we are looking our set our site up for members only. I need a fully automated system to do this for me. I pretty much need it to run like suicidegirls.com or any other site like that. Any suggestions?

you can either go the more costly route by going with a company like verisign and get your own merchant (sometimes rather hard and costly depending on what you're selling). Or you can go a cheaper route with a company like ccbill, 2checkout, paypal, etc.

For it to be fully automated it just takes some programming on the backend of your site so its fully integrated. It can never be 100% automated, just because some things need a human approval and overview.

Well it depends on what country you are in. If you are in the United States, you have a ton of options available to you. Running a membership based website - that can be high risk, so depending on the content, some providers might not support you.

CCBill does membership based websites actually for adult website for the most part. If your website falls into something like that, then I would recommend you get that.

Otherwise, consider getting a merchant account with an electronic payment gateway (LinkPoint, Payflow, Cybersource/Authorize.net). The recurring billing can be done on the gateway so you don't need to store any credit card numbers or be PCI compliant. The recurring billing module should be free as well.

You might also consider getting VBV / MSC as well. This will be a bit more expensive, but will save you on the "I didn't do it" chargebacks some
