Start an ebook biz. There are millions of people looking for information everyday! Be the person to fulfill their needs. I put out a single ebook (see my sig), and it has grossed me $75,000+ in just one year!

The ebook sells itself, while I'm sleeping, or surfing (I'm from Hawaii), it's making me money!

    Good luck, Kekoa!

Yep, ebooks sell themselves. It's basic supply and demand. Millions of people buy ebooks everyday, and only a handful of people write ebooks.

I love how some of you guys are so quick to call this guy out. You obviously didn't take the time to understand what he was saying before opening your mouths.

What he means with Step 1. is 'To make a passive income you can't be lazy and instead need to set your mind to something and work hard to achieve your goals (step 3)'

You guys are calling him out as if he said 'If you are looking to make a passive income then you're lazy'. That's not what he said at all, so stop making yourselves sound stupid.

What he posted there was very sound advice that I'm sure any and probably every millionaire on the face of this planet would agree with.

Step 2 may be a little questionable in regards to what I just said but what he means by this is that you simply can't read books by these guru's and expect to be rich which is what 95% of people do. These people read the books, learn the concepts but never have the motivation or drive to every do anything which ties back to step one and three; you can't be lazy and need to set your mind to something and pour your heart and soul into it.
Do something you're passionate about. It makes a world of difference to your success.

Have you considered the wellness industry through network marketing? I just started with a product called Original Limu, and I've spoken with a few distributors who have been a part of the business for a few years who have done very well. Some are involved full-time and are making a bundle.

I think anything can be passive if you get creative. Most people say that rental property isn't passive but if you do it right, it could be. If you look at like a business person then it won't be. But if you look at it like an investor then it could be.

    Example:
Find a apartment complex, run the financials on it. Find the monthly income. If possible, find a management company to take care of it.

    Just a thought

This is a pretty weak statement.

Why work hard and put your time into something when you can leverage the time of someone else to do the exact same job?

In the beginning when I started my life as an entrepreneur I found out that I had plenty of time but no money. As it stands now I am quickly finding out that money is not an issue, I just have NO TIME. I have plenty of things on my plate and can only do so much at once.

Hence, time is worth more than money - not the other way around. This is the beauty of passive ventures, they require very little of your time yet continue to earn for you for years to come.

Creating a successful passive venture in the beginning does take time and is in no way a lazy way out. If you focus on passive ventures you aren´t lazy, you are just managing your future time well.
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

I have discovered a way to generate hundreds of dollars a day using affiliates and goggle ads. At most I spend 1/2 hour a day doing it in the mornings before I go to work. Is that passive enough for you? I am lazy and proud of it. I am by no means stupid, I have read some books and I love what I do. What am I? I also have rental properties but include upkeep as part of my leases. PASSIVE INCOME.

This isnīt rude. Consider looking into affiliate marketing and making money with Google Adsense for passive revenue.

I have also tinkered with leveraging the Ebay Trading Assistant program for passive revenue. I had the products and they sold it for me and sent me a check when they were done. It worked nicely when I did it (I had a trustworthy seller) and will be doing something similiar like this again but with a fulltime employee.

The way I gather it, if a passive venture is well-structured and is operating well, I don't see laziness in it.

Look at other kinds of self-owned businesses. In the initial stage, the owner puts in time, effort and capital on a venture he thinks will suceed, and if it succeeds, he eventually finds out that he can structure the management in a way that he can be more passive in his role. He just delegated the work to someone else.

Therefore that guy can now devote time as he please, whether to think up of some way to make the business grow more, build another or spend it as he will. It does happen and there's no laziness in that.

No one is saying that having a passive income is lazy.

What is lazy is someone saying "I want a passive income" without the intent of putting in a lot of hard work; someone looking for an easy way out to get rich quick with minimal effort. I hate to burst everyone's bubble here, but it doesn't matter what kind of income you want to make. It takes hard work to become successful.

So whether you want to work hard for your money or sit on your ass while your money is coming in, it takes a lot of hard work and determination. Nothing in life is free.

There's a lot out there but I focus more on what I'm interested in. I have a couple of internet sites, Realestate, and Paper trading stuff. I'm also expanding to Venture Capitalist.

I advice anyone that no matter what... you should always pursue your dreams.
