Business takes alot of money and alot of work. Your going to need to spend more then 500 dollars and spend more then part time on it to make it work.

Yes, I agree as a person who has done it but with a struggle for many years. It can be done but money helps. With that said why not consider joining one of the Affiliate Marketing programs on the Net. I manage two of them for clients. Be glad to share.

I disagree. While less money and time means fewer opportunities, I don't think that 500 dollars and a 9 to 5 fall below some minimum threshold for the opportunity to start an entrepreneurial venture, no matter how small it may be. Think about it. What you're saying is that their has never been a venture started with 500 or less and a 9 to 5. Common sense even tells us that's not true, but if you fail to want to use common sense, I'm sure myself and others will have no problem providing you plenty of examples.

Thanks for all the suggestions and responses, people are always claiming they make good money blogging or being part of an affiliate program, this could be something that interest me, anyone could steer me in the right direction, cause, i know most affiliate programs are scams.

I'm selling computers part-time and while we invested $3000 we split that between all 3 business partners so it was only $1000 per person. So far so good we have a surprisingly good amount of interest from people and we haven't advertised one bit yet besides word of mouth.

Get hosting, register a domain (or two or three), get Wordpress if you're going to blog or try Joomla if you want a website feel. I would drop an adsense block on your page too, to diversify your revenue.
Pick a niche and start creating content around the products you're promoting. Remember to target relevant keywords. Keep the keyword density in your content below 10% or else it will look like spam.
Build links via directory submissions, social bookmarking, article marketing, or getting blog posts on other peoples blogs with your links in them.
Vary the anchor text in your links so it looks natural to Google, and don't build too many links too quickly.
In practice this is very simple stuff, yet very few have the motivation to keep doing it day in and day out.
