Sounds like a grea idea. Paintball is becoming a popular sport. If you can you should make a course where players can have tournaments.
I'd love to but i'm only 14. And that takes lots of money and time. But maybe in time.
Well, do you have the money to buy enough supplies to startup your business? You might also want to look into the legal guideline to running a business like that. ATVs and paintball supplies are two different things.
it also depends on what type of paintball you want to do speedball or woodsball i prefer woodsball but you need the money to start also. That kind of buisness takes a lot of money too because the insurance is high and the supplies arent cheap either.
It wont be a field. Just a store. And i'll have about 500 to get started. I figure get about 10,000 to 20,000 paintballs and a co2 refill rig because it's and hour to go anywhere to get co2. Also Get some O rings. The only place to get anything is walmart and there isn't much there.![]()
are you talking about selling paintball supplies? start a website or on ebay, no point buying a property for a small shop. Have a look at the biggest paintball shops on ebay and see what they are doing. Also, are your mum and dad prepared to register for a business and for VAT ect? In their name.
Sounds like a good idea. I would think about setting up a paint ball tournament as a way to promote your new venture. Find some land, setup a course, charge a fee to enter teams.

My dad already has a business liscence and tax id number. He is also getting a building. All i have to do is put up the money and manage it. I don't have enough money to buy land and don't have enough money to get land. Maybe when I'm about 17 I can get a field. Theres also to many people selling paintball online, so I thought I'd wait till i have a store. Thanks for the replys.
That's a good idea.
You don't have to buy the land.
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

I would think you could setup a woods ball field quite cheaply. I find the hardest part for me when I play paint ball is finding a place to play that is not indoors speed ball. This may be because i live in the city though I would imagine it would be easy (although illegal) to find a forest out side and start playing. In a few years You could probably start a field but don't expect to be able to live off that income Because sometimes it may be packed while other times no one will show up to play. If I ever own a field it would be because of the love of the game I won't be expecting to make millions.

I would only run games a day or two on the weekend for promotional purposes.

I think the co2 rig would be good becuase I have to go a store that is 30 min away to get air and co2.I think you would want to invest in a good air compressor becuase lots of ppl like air over co2.
C02? I would get a nitro fill station before I got C02. Out with the old, in with the new. Obviosuly you should have both though.
My biggest suggestion would be to learn how to fix guns. Paintball guns are relatively easy to understand after a little time playing around with them. You could then offer common repair parts (o-rings, screws, etc) some supplies (paint, gloves, etc) and repairs.
I would also look into buying and re-selling paintball guns and equipment. I have made some decent money doing that not to long ago. It works well because...
1. Paintball has become mainstream
2. So paintball gun manufacturers release new guns and models very frequently
3. So you have people constantly wanting to upgrade.
4. So, you buy peoples old guns, and sell them to the new paintballers looking for a cheap "newer" gun.
Hope this helps
