    Opinions on Logo?

I have a first draft of a logo for my new venture, Creatopia Media, a public relations & advertising firm geared toward non-profits and other socially conscience businesses, groups, and organizations. What do you all think? It would go along with the tag line "Strategic communications for a better world." Opinions on the lines around the text? I'm not sure whether I like them or not. How about the font? And the scribbled effect on the globe? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: uploaded the wrong draft. Should be the right version now!

Looks good I like the "type" text and the free hand globe. It puts more of a personable look vs all business. I would think of another work than stategic and make it more personable if you going to work with groups and non-profits... just my 2cents

I think it looks great. The freehand look gives a really warm and personable feeling to it just as said above. Good Luck.

I agree with everyone else, it has a warm feel to it and it looks fine. However, you may want to consider the sort of presence you're trying to project into the community. Do you want to come off as powerful? Friendly? Organized? The current look you have is very friendly, which makes sense if you're working with non-profits, but only you know exactly what image you want people to perceive.

A few quick changed I'd make....

    1. Slightly more spacing between the letters and words. It looks a tad crowded.
    2. I'd make the lines slightly thicker and straighter, it bows above the T

The logo aligns with what you're going for. However, I feel that the blue and green colours are a bit too bright and makes it look a bit kiddish. If you use a tru blue and green, same design, I think it could look a bit more professional but still having that warm feel.

I also think the 'p' could be moved over more to the right so it doesn't overlap the 'o'.
