Opinions On Business Name

Hey guys,

My business partner and I are trying to decide on a business name.

We are planning to sell Modern, contemporary and unique types of furniture, which include hand shaped,lips shaped and even foot shaped chairs and sofas.

In any case for the time being these are the ideas we have come up with, ANY VALUABE SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME:

- Biz-R (Bizzare) Comfort

- Imagine Comfort

- Sit On Something Different

- Relax N' Style

Yet again any valuable feedback would be appreciated.

Check to see which companies have domain names available.. thats a good place to start

For the time being we're not concentrating on the online market, so when the actual business name is developed, we can incoorporate a website.

I like Sit n' Something Different. What about "Something Different" or "Something Wonderful."

None of the names caught my attention and are quite hard to remember. Go with something simple and reflects what you sell, for example "Unique Furniture".

I rekon Biz-R comfort is actualy quite good. And to disagree with Yiie i dont think something simple is the way to go necessary, for one most names thought of, chances are they would already be taken and if Tom Milan is going to be selling 'hand' and 'foot' shape furniture something different would probly be the way to go.

In todays market all businesses end up on the web. Your product line will need a web audiance... It's better to take care of this now then to not be able to take care of it later. Just my two cents

I think that none of those names are capable of becoming household brands. keep thinking...

Slouch Couch, Love-these-Seats, Physique Phurniture, Freaky Furniture...just some ideas.

Personally, I don't take an business seriously if they don't have a professional online presence. Even if its only an online brochure with some contact info, you gotta be online.

what a load of crap... a business doesn't need to be online in order to be taken seriously... even though most are online because society deems it necessary and it's too cheap not to be online

I would have to agree being online is very important and for the cost it is great. I mean in terms of just opportunity costs it is great. There is a vast amount of companies that may not need an online presence, but it will never hurt.
