    Opinions Appreciated

    Hello Everyone,

Well as many will be able to tell from my post count, I am a relatively new member here.

I was wondering if I could gather your opinions on one of our main company products SecuriNu.com. It is a children's web browser built and developed by our company (the software is still in development).

What are your opinions of the site and product?

    Thanks

hii, as a person with kids in the family, i think your product is interesting and your site is fine..i think the price is reasonable and the offer is compelling

...one bit of feedback is that, in our family at least, the decision maker would be the child's mother, so from a promotional perspective, you'd probably want to align your brand with things relevant to moms...

Your website looks very professional and clean. Easy to navigate.
    Your pricing is very reasonable.

One thing I question is the wording of this sentence: "Parents are able to take full control, no matter how computer literate they are,..." That doesn't make sense. Did you mean no matter how illeritate they are? Is They the parents or the kids?

Good luck with this business, I hope you do well with it.

Thanks for your feedback bizdev, that sentence means that the parents will be able to use and navigate the software, even if they barely know how to use a computer!
    Thanks

    that's a great observation, I totally agree.
is that the website you send traffic to?
on the positive side the website looks very professional. perhaps consider, adding a movie or an audio clip that that sells and describes your product.

I think the product has potential, the website is designed very well and your lifetime license price point is spot on. I am not sure why you would want to offer a 6 month license option though. I would assume you really want people to buy the full lifetime license. I don't think it's beneficial for you since you already have a free 7 day demo.

One suggestion in terms of layout; on your demo download page, there is too much text. At a quick glance it makes the installation of the demo seem hard or a drawn out process. Your PC and Mac instructions are too close together. Right now you don't even have a Mac version, so remove that text. You can put, "Mac version coming soon!" in it's place.

When you do have both versions, I would them make the demo page have two buttons - one for PC and one for Mac. It will then bring you to a page for each. Each page should then have an actual "Download Now" button/image rather than a small text link.

You should also do this for the current PC version link. You may also want to consider images/screen-shots of each step. The less reading, the better off you are since it makes it look much simpler.

In addition to that, you may want to capture an email address in order to download the demo. This will assist with your ability to follow up with those that have tried it so you can attempt to close some sales.

Lastly, you have an "msi" file as a download. This is a Windows Installer file and is fine, except most people won't recognize that format since usually msi files are launched from an exe file. My concern that some people may be wary about launching the file.

Other than that, great job and best of luck to you!

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for all of your feedback, we're actually currently making some improvements to the software and so once they are complete we will be making a video to illustrate how the software works.

With regards to your comments GuyC I do totally understand where you're coming from with regards to the demo page and excessive amounts of text so we will look to alter that and improve the aesthetics of the page.

    Thanks for your time
