Opening a shop within a shop

I've noticed recently that a lot of franchises are opening their restaraunts in non-traditional locations. For example at my local supermarket (Stop N Shop) I recently saw a Dunken Donuts stand. Now say I wanted to open a beverage stand (not a franchise) somewhere along the lines of what Dunken Donuts already has, except ofcourse I wouldn't be selling donuts and coffee. How would I approach the supermarket, and would this even be possible since I obviously wouldn't have a strong brand behind me. I'd like to hear your opinions, thanks!

What I would do first is construct a very solid business plan that also shows your projected profits and how much they could potentially earn from your estimated sales.

You will need to contact the supermarkets head office to discuss it, but before you do I would seek some sort of legal advice, or approach 'business link' before you do anything.

I've been seeing more and more of this as well. Inside our local supermarket, there are 5 smaller shops lined up against the wall like Starbucks (of course), a pizza place, and a smoothie place.
