Opened an eBay store, Looking to become an autherized dealer. How ?

Me and a friend recently partnered to start up an eBay store. We have been ordering bose earphones in bulk from chinese suppliers but have recently found out they are not 100% authentic and are replicas. after selling about 80 of these for 250% profit on each we have stopped buying from china.

We are now looking around to become autherized dealers for companies around the US, and have no clue how to do it. we have tried applying online for various companies but almost ALL of them say "currently not looking for anymore dealers in the US"

I am looking for any kind of advice for products we could sell, or companies that you know are looking for dealers to sell for them.

    Thank you,

    dennis.

clothes can be pretty profitable if you know where to get them. Where have you been getting your bose earphones from? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some replicas

Search for distributors. Some companies contract with distributors that sell products to the smaller guys like yourself. Try a Google search for something like "Bose distributor". If that comes up with nothing, call the company and find out if they have any distributors.

    Hope this helps.

Thats going to be tough, In order to be an authoirzed dealer you have to OFFER THEM something. Either you have to come up with the cash ON THE SPOT, to take away all there excess inventory, or know someone in the company. I'm not saying it can't happen, you might just wanna stick to what your doing.

What I am saying is to search for new products.
What I am NOT saying is to continue purchasing from china, If bose catches you selling fake merchandise they can file a law suit for copy right infringement. Wholesales a tough business to really get into, but good luck and id love to help you along the way.

I did the same thing with car audio/video/performance, which I sold for 9+ yrs. When I first started, I hit wholesalers (waste of time and money/effort). I then found the more reliable and dependable distributors. Once cash flow was consistant, I found the MASTER distributors. It'll take some work and many days of research, but you will find them eventually.

Depending on what you're re-selling, will depend on how hard it'll be to find the golden ticket. Took me a few years before I found my Master Dist. - but WELL worth it. If you're looking for drop-shipping, chances are you won't ever deal with Master Dist... but again - different levels of profit/return for different levels of business structure.

Side note: RickyCeez makes it seem like he's knowledgable about all things wholesale -- take his info at face value.

sticking to what he is doing is the wrong idea...he is currently selling fake or "grey market" goods. Eventually the products being shipped from China that are not above board will be seized...

You should consider creating a private brand product .......
