    Online shipping question

When operating a online business how must I handle receipt print outs. I've noticed that when I buy something online the receipt is bigger than the typical receipt you get from stores. Does anyone know what these printers are called? Can I use just a small thermal receipt printer? Also does anyone have their quickbooks set up to print receipts?

You don't need any special printers. Standard home printers will do. Many online businesses simply send electronic invoices via email.

If you are doing business online, I would thing most shopping carts would generate a receipt and shipping information and either email to the customer or allow them to print it out right there from their screen. I could be wrong though.
