    Online Gambling/Casino Business

I was just wondering how one can go about starting an online casino/gambling business? What permits, laws, etc would I have to follow? If anyone has any experience in this field please post.

    Thanks.

this industry is so saturated, you need a lot of money if you want your own casino/poker room and not just an affiliate casino where u only get commisions.

you also need a lot of money for marketing. poker rooms like mansion.com have thrown millions of $$ at marketing and their poker tables are still empty.

You cannot host, operate, or own any online gambling websites inside the United States. The UK does allow operation of online casinos, sportsbooks, and poker rooms.

Hello, Online casinos may seem incredibly luring when you hear about the few companies who rack in millions, some even billions off E-gaming. But the reality is far from the dream. To go up against the big hitters, such as partypoker.com it would take millions and millions of advertising dollars. Not to mention all the programing involved to create an internet casino (millions) unless you become a lisceness, which is $200k+. But MANY MANY companies who offer this are out to steal your money. So not only do you have incredible business challanges, ITS ILLEGAL. If you are american, you absolutly CANNOT do ANYTHING regarding gambling over the internet. Even if you did, say, host it out of costa rica under a ghost name, and were actualy successful, what would you do with the money? launder it? and then go to jail? sorry man, cant be done.
