Hi

I'm thinking of operating an online social/ academic site for my fellow University students and was wondering if I could operate the website online.

I'm leaving the country and want to keep contact with school friends. I'm going to make profit (or cut even) by putting advertisement.

I would have a webmaster and a data manager to keep the website function normally, and they would report to me each day via email with an updated news.

I was wondering if this is even possible, and if so, will my absense hinder any major communication interaction? (Most likely it will, but I want to know the severity of it) If you have any experience in online
