    Online Business Questions

    Hi

Ive got a few questions about online businesses and I would really appreciate some answers.

-With a website, I have no experience of web design and whilst I like the idea of creating one from scratch, I know I dont have the skills to be able to make a complex one eg facebook. So my question is, do most entrepreneurs make it themselves or hire a professional?

-For an online business, when doing market research is it best to have questionnaires online or offline? Also i'd appreciate some ideas of what makes good research. Also how do I set online questionnaires that target my target market?

    Many thanks

    Charlie

Using either online or offline marketing for your online business can be very profitable but are 2 different animals. For example, I make a decent amount giving away free websites while I make most of my contacts in the real world.

There are successful website owners who have setup their website themselves mainly because they've got the skills to develop their own websites and do advanced SEO but those who don't have the capacity to do such a technical thing, they do hire professionals or better outsource them to keep the lower rates and work with them on a contract basis. Once the website is ready to launch, the owner utilizes its tools and monetizes it himself again generating contents and building links around Web 2.0 networks.
Outsourcing is to time management and business leverage...

    1. Take time to learn it yourself because it could save you lots of money, but if you can't, then your may want to consider outsourcing.

    2. Don't just focus on one. Online and offline methods shouldn't go against each other, but rather compliment one another.
