Does anyone on here believe altruism to be a virtue? Vice? For those of you unfamiliar with the term, I have robbed it from wikipedia here;

Altruism (from Latin: alter: the other) is the deliberate pursuit of the interests or welfare of others or the public interest.

An obvious example here is the current push for social entrepreneurship.
