Niche in canada

I dont know if anyone could help me. I am running a home based business with an american dropshpping company and it goes very well. The thing is that I'd like to become bigger and resell on my town. I can't almost import item due to border taxes + all UPS hidden fees. Often , it makes no sense.
I was wondering if someone could help me finding a good niche based in canada. I love working with electronics.
I can,t understand how "ebay canadian sellers" do. I think there is a lot more profit to do with selling locally though... if I can find a good niche.
