Glad to say I took everyone's advice and contacted the NFL.
It wasn't easy, had to have a lawyer do it, they wouldn't respond to my emails, including the "I may be trademarking your images" email, I thought I would definetly gain some interest, but no.
But anyways, the NFL had no problem with the site, stating that the disclaimer and a link to their site was a great start. As far as the NFL Pink Clothing line, my lawyer advised me that as long as the symbol and colors are not the same as the NFLs', there will be no problems, since they are not associated with the words NFL Pink.
With this being said, I already have 1 well known article writer, MrsO, who has published many articles on associatedcontent.com, and many more who have advised me that they would write for NFLPink long term, so the article section will be a hit on the site.
I've also had several sellers wanting to sell their merchandise on my website, with a 50/50 split including Pink jerseys, hats, shirts, even pink football cleats.
Manufacturing is underway with our logo on Pink footballs, and i am still looking for someone to manufacturer t-shirts and other products for me at a decent price, because I don't want to do bulk buy due to not knowing how successful the t-shirts will be.
My goal is to have 1000 registered members within the first month, I have several advertising methods on my list including getting all my articles submitted to the most popular sites including digg, associatedcontent, and all the sites my writer has accounts for (she will be helping me market). She will also be writing a press release for the site. Remember, you can view the updates at Nflpink - A Woman’s World to Football.
Just keep me in your thoughts and hope for the best.

P.S. You can view a rough demo here. The black background will be changed to a lighter color to make the site more inviting. All comments are welcome.

) but yea they like the fan sites, which create more money for them (more female fans tuning in), so I guess its a win-win situation.
