Newbies. Most Lose, but some win.

Most newbies will not make it in this business.

The pathetic part is it's not due to knowledge - because it's easy for me to teach a newbie. Give me any newbie and I can give them the skill set to make a bundle of cash.

    So why do they lose?

Simply a lack of perseverence, determination, focus and above all - taking action. I think they also live in a quasi-dream world. They're half serious. It also takes money to make money but it's no where near what you'd spend on a brick and mortar business.

I've seen many newbies say they don't have $100 or $200 a month to spend on their business. ...Yet they have plenty of money for cigarettes, beer, a vacation - even going to to fast food places every week.

If a "serious" marketer wants to really make it in this business - they'll find the money. If not, they'll bitch, quit and say Internet marketing doesn't work. They'll then toss out the usual cynical comments I hear every day.

    1. Rich guys get rich because they teach the non-rich how to get rich.

    2. They're all scam artists

    3. No one can make money online, it's all smoke and mirrors.

...and the list goes on and on.

I'm a passionate individual. I keep at it. If something doesn't work right, I figure out what it is and fix it. I keep at it and at it. Had I acted like a typical loser newbie I'd never have what I have today.

Here is what I "ALMOST" have. I am about 14 months away from getting it too - but I WILL get it. Why? because I "want" it.

But before you look at it and say "yeah, but you CAN do it because you're a professional at this and I am not" ...I say - "so let me teach you - then take what you've learned and just do it."

Here Is What I "ALMOST" Have.

That's my sermon for the day.

Very inspiring. I agree with you, most people give up too soon. They don't have the drive and determination to keep at a project. I'd also love to talk with you sometime. Mind if I PM you?

Tuscan Style seems to be the in thing now. Personally, I prefer Victorian. Maybe it's because of my autism-I need to be stimulated constantly, and Victorian is swirling with detail. I also have a soft spot for Art Deco aka Streamline. I love stuff from the Golden Age of Modernism in the late 30s. 50s modernism doesn't do it for me though. I love the little cottages here in Sacramento, the State Worker cottages here and the Divorce Cottages in Reno, similar dates and styles. Modern, yet understated, and the fine details matter. Many of the cottages have been remodeled several times, so the good stuff is gone, so you have a small, ugly house, which is why they tend to be in ghetto areas. But what I call Boom Tuscan, since it was prominent during the housing bubble, really isn't my thing.

On great motivator I use is to tell newbies to pick up a couple magazines of items they want; ie: fancy home, car, vacation destination, etc.

Place those magazines right on their desk so they see it day in and day out.

You'd be surprised how much more productive two hours online becomes than without the visual reminders.
