    New Youth Magazine

    Hi All

I have recently started helping a not-for -profit organisation who develop a Youth magazine and are looking to expand. They currently have issues in the local libraries and schools and in other youth centres and clubs. However, the need to expand to get the magazine noticed on a larger scale.

I would really appreciate any ideas of how the magazine could expand? Where are the kinds of places young adults would read the magazine (which would be free to them). I think the idea of transport links such as bus/train stations may be a good idea, but could also be very expensive. Would this even be viable? Any advice would be great. Thanks

    Where are you from?

It will be best if you could do some research on your target group..
Then you will know what's the trends, what they like/dislike, what's their concerns, where they hang out etc etc..

Then you will have a higher chance to reach them with your magazines, psychologically & physically..

Do you have a website? Maybe you can start creating a blog that announces your upcoming issues and future topics. Most youth nowadays are using internet.

Advertising in the magazine is what brings you the money to expand, keep getting more and more customers and charge low since you are starting out. Once you have enough advertisers, you can start shipping your issues out to different states, countries, etc. Never expand too fast.
