    New Website Idea

I wanted to run something by you guys. So far my testing of this idea has had mixed results.

I ran across a site based in the UK that has, what I think is a great idea, but it is not done correctly.

My idea: A Social Network, where you would ask people questions.
Such as, "How do I market my webstie.....blah blah blah". Then you would offer $50.00 to the best answer. People would write their answers, you could only view summaries of these answers, and at the end of a period of time that you set, like 30 days or something, you would pick the best one. You would then commision that person the $50.

The SN factor comes into play by everyone having a profile of their business/life experiences and qualifications. So that way you could search for marketing experts adn "request" an answer from someone specifically.

Also there would be a rating system, like ebay. After you pay for results, if you dont like them, you can request more info on the same topic from someone explaining what you dont understand or dont agreee with. If they dont help you further, you give them a bad rating. That way, based on someones rating, you know your getting quality info.

It would basically be what you all do here, but you could make money off of it.

    Just an idea....

The site doesn't sound terrible, but why would someone be persuaded to pay for an answer that they could find here for free?

Thats the main problem I have been presented with.

The answer: Its very possible they wont; however, business owners from a different generation then us, might not be able to find the answers for free.

also, free answers arent always quality ones. So hopefully you would be receiving quality professional help. Thats why there also be the profile, so you knew what type of person was answering your question.

On any type of forum with a similar idea, you never know what a persons intentions are for answering you. With money as motivator it should bring good answers.

You could set what you would commision someone. With a minimum of $15. So its not a lot of money for good answers.

I know there is the "free" competition. But again no way to tell if the information is any good. Knowing more about the source of the info I think would be very helpful.
