    New Startup: vacancybid.com

Hi guys, me and jryan54 are doing a new startup at Vacancy Bid - Online Recruitment Platform

The problem we're solving is the high cost of recruitment for large and medium sized companies. Specifically, employers can expect to pay more than $10,000 when engaging a headhunter to find entry, middle management and executive talent.

The solution we're commercializing is an online market place similar to "ebay for recruitment". At vacancybid.com employers can lower their cost of hire by more than 10% when they post their vacancies on vacancybid.com and accept multiple tenders from recruiters, who compete on price and quality of their feedback score.

    When we have customers! lol
I need 10 employers who'll want to lower their cost of hire.
At Vacancybid employers can post their jobs for free and accept offers from recruiters who are competing for the employer's business.
Please pass me to any employers in Australia who are currently using recruiters and want to lower their cost of hire.

Sounds like a great solution to a problem.

I thing I would suggest about your website is a white back ground behind the links under recruiters benefits and employer benefits, cause I found it a bit hard to read.

I would try posting a question for this in the Q&A section of LinkedIn. There are thousands of recruiters on LinkedIn, including many in Australia. You might have some luck soliciting on there.

I like the idea, something we can definitely use. Monster.com which we currently use is too costly and generates more junk than what we need. Hiring an actual recruiting agency is also too costly for most of us; so this might actually solve the current problem.

great to hear...unlike monster.com, vacancybid is a risk free, pay for performance solution

if you guys need an employee, you'll be able to post your job free of charge and nominate a bounty you're willing to pay for a sucessful hire. vacancybid will then accept this bounty and put it in an escrow account. after that, a professional recruiter will bid for your vacancy and find you a suitable candidate. from that time a 60 day guarantee period kicks in, and if you're still happy with your new employee after 60 days, only then will we release the bounty to the recruiter (minus our commission)
