    New product distribution

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with some information in regards to your online store and how online stores operate.

Basically I have a new electronic fitness product that is currently being developed in china and will be ready for production January 2009.

The product is going to be sold in retail stores in Australia but I would also like to get it sold through online stores overseas.

What I抦 wondering is if anyone is able to provide me with information in regards to how you prefer to operate with manufacturers and distributors. If you could help out with the below questions it would be great.

What sort of quantities do you buy from the manufacturer?

Do you hold stock yourself or do you distribute straight from the manufacture/distributor?

How are your products posted and who wears the cost?

What sort of profit margins do you look for? If I sold my product to you for $30 a unit not including any sort of freight from china, how much would you expect to sell it for on your site?

Any information would be great and I would like to expand on some questions in the future, I also understand if you don抰 want to release and information but it would be greatly appreciate it if you could. Even if you could pm me

    Have a good day,

MOQ300pcs base on the price of your items

if your quantity is not big, i think you need a distributor, although price little higher

How are your products posted and who wears the cost?
in fact, buyers pay it, your price should include postage

    if $30 from CN, ¥$80 or $90??

Australia is basically the testing ground for the product. I have approximately 10,000 units being made. And I’m having the majority brought over to Australia. With the remaining few thousand staying in china and will be directly distributed from there. I want to look at methods of distributing my product hence the initial questions. I’m mostly interested in the cost associated in selling the product to online stores and how they operate. The product has passed CE And has approval for ROHS.

if small quantity such as 10pcs, you can use EMS. withn 500g, is about RMB280.00,and over 500g, +RMB75.00/500g. also they have a postage sheet in their website but Chinese Version. please note the delivery time is long.

Hi Terry, Thank you for all the information. The product is being made in Shenzen. The courier option is looking a little expensive as the product weighs about 600 grams. The box is only 20cm by 17cm by 4cm. As the product is going to retail for $79us paying $59us is going to wash away all the profits or trhe customer won't purchase the product because PH is to much. Is there any other way that drop shippers post items to there customers. Thanks Terry.
