Great Uncle:

“My great uncle (my father’s uncle)..but he was great too! hehe He grew up in a poor family and persevered to build a powerful Publishing Company in India called LIFCO that is still very successful and being run by his sons. I only met him once and I was too young to remember well but his legacy has inspired me.”

Authors

Tim Ferriss:

“There is no other person who would best personify many of my financial and life goals than Tim Ferris, author of the 4-Hour Workweek. I recommend that book to any persons who wants to own/start their own business (and not run one!).”

Thank you everyone for casting your vote - it’s an impressive list of mentors and for those of you who don’t have a business mentor yet, it’s time to get searching!

My #1 role model is Brian Tracy. He is my savior and like a god to me. I have studied all his advice many times and I live by it every day. I have succeeded in my business and I couldn't have done it without Brian. I definitely model myself after him far more than anyone else.

I also admire Michael Jordan and anyone else who is extremely excellent at whatever they do. I strive for extreme excellence myself every day, and that's one of the reasons why I'm successful in my business.

My longest time business role model has to be Bill Gates. His success story is very inspiring to me, and has always inspired me since I was very young.

More recently I have come to admire Warren Buffet for his investment expertise, but mostly I, like Kamal87, admire Tim Ferriss. His book is fantastic and his outlook on business and life is right on target for how entrepreneurs should view their time and their interests. Simplicity and quick learning are some great goals that everyone should persue, and since reading his book, I have sought to learn more and seek more simplicity every day.

My business role model is Bill Gates as well... He is one person who knows what is important to grow your business.. he really was able to focus on what the customer needed,,, not necessarily what the customer said that they wanted. This resulted in great business growth.

Elon Musk from SpaceX and Tesla Motors.

Have researched these two pretty well.
