Ok, I'm sad to admit that I watched the youtube video. But I just had to.

The math they use doesn't exactly make sense. What I mean is, the mention that the business is currently worth 5.2 billion USD (which I doubt, but that's not the point). Then they proceed to break that down by second. So I did the math. Apparently, the company believes that if you figure out what your net worth is, then divide it by the number of seconds in a year, you'll end up with a useful, viable statistic to share with others. Unfortunately, the "net worth divided by number of seconds per year" statistic doesn't appear in any business publications...because it isn't really a statistic. Just thought it was interesting that a $5.2 billion dollar company would make such a silly mistake.

Hello Jleezer that is a very interesting point. The calculation is based on what the total market is worth at the moment and what it will be in the future. The companies usp (unique selling point) is that it combines 3 of the most important aspects to the internet. 1)Online gaming sites 2) social networking sites (facebook etc) 3) instant messenger. The company has combined all of these separate aspects and put them under one roof, giving them an approx net value of $5.2 Billion.

No i don't, i own a percentage of the company so it is in my best interest to get as many people signed up and playing the games or become business associates. This is the hardest bit getting trust into people. Once they have registered they never look back. I am trying to build a well motivated innovative team with a drive towards success, so where better to look than this forum. The website has a lot to offer to future entrepreneurs, a successful entrepreneur always take the right opportunities which pay off. uVme is almost like a cult. No one really knows what's going on exactly.

As far as I can tell, it makes money like this:

-Associates have sites which host games
-Users can play those games
-If they want, they can both put up money and the winner takes it

Now, step 2 to 3 is the one that bothers me and, unsurprisingly, step 2 to 3 is where the "money" is made.

jbomb, all I want to know is why you think people will be bothered to gamble on games with mates?

I've asked this questions to several uVme-evangilists and never had a decent answer.

Not trying to bash or be mean - just trying to understand uVme.

Thank you all for your questions. 1st of all i believe people will play their mates for money because it is quite a social thing to do. The increase in gambling these day has resulted in lots of people having gambling nights at their own homes etc. My website will allow people and friends to play each other and have a good time. The wagers are not that high which means it has a fun element to it rather than a serious one.
2nd There is not another website like this because UVME's USP is combining 3 of the most up to date technological advances on the internet 1 online skill based gambling 2 Instant messenger 3 Social networking facilities like facebook. The combination of all three elements makes the company unique.
I understand people are sceptical about things like this, but i have been to the meeting online and offline and the people are very motivated and friendly. All i have to say is try it out, if you don't like it you have not lost anything. You can only gain from these experiences hopefully both in knowledge and in wealth.

Hi there,

Personally, I think it's quite an anti-social model. I don't want to win money from my friends and family. I want to make money running my businesses and spend time with my friends in real life.

This is why the uVme thing will not make the associates millionaires. It is a re-seller scheme where the top dog will make a killing and the worker-ants will make a few hundred dollars.

I would love to be proved wrong. But I seriously doubt that I will.

Not a non-believer; just someone who has always made money thinking about what people really want, and not just what I think other people should want.
