New ideas of more income for real estate agents

The real estate business is tough and hard. It requires a lot of toil and hardwork. Being a broker in the business, I have to stay away from home for long. I also have a high maintenance cost of maintaining an office and other overheads. All this put together is not working to be cost effective for me. Can I continue working as an agent without incurring the costs and as a result get more profits.

Cost cutting is a good place to start. You have to assess what it is exactly that your office provides you with if you are not there much of the time. Can it be shut down and relocated to your home? Do you employ anyone? Are they surplus to requirement?

What monthly costs can you review? Internet, telephone, service feeds, utility bills etc.

What you say is true. It is indeed difficult for agents to maintain overhead costs. Instead, it will be better if you join the on-line program by mygreenparachute.com for real estate agents. They absorb all agents in their fold and have something for all. You can work from home at peace and earn referral incomes without having to bother about overheads. You can also join their community MGP Community Website and enjoy blogging!!!!

All work environments are becoming increasingly mobile. Perhaps as was previously recommended you can review some of your utility and office overhead bills to see which ones really aren't utilized. Which can be axed and instead primarily utilized through your home or cellphone?

Think skype for telephone, basecamp for meetings, any online or mobile services that can replace utilities in fixed locations might be of use to you.
