    New College Business

I've started a business called Storage Bucket, LLC (google it since I can't link) and essentially what we we do is storage for college students over the summer. What we offer that is very unique is the rental of storage bins to students. My question is what e-commerce tools can i use in order to charge students if they don't return the bins on time?
Example: student rents bin for $6 and he doesn't return it. Now Storage Bucket wants to charge the student a $12 automatic purchase fee. How do we do this? What do I need?

that is a really great idea, the parts of college i remember was the frustration of summer and having to move couches and what not several states or cities away.

to answer your question though what your asking sounds similar to the companies you see on the tv where you can try for 45 days for free, what they fail to tell you is if you don't return it in 45 days they charge you and continue to charge you every month. wouldn't it be easier though if you just charged them $12 off the bat and they get $6 back when they pick up their stuff, that way if they don't you already have the money in hand etc..

Thanks for the compliments. It most definitely WOULD be easier but students are pretty cheap and it would be a total charge of $18 (6 + 12) and that sounds a lot to put up front, especially when they are already paying for storage etc.. The easiest most efficient way would be some type of merchant service which allows the company to keep the card number on file and charge it at later time.. Any ideas?

try Payment Gateway to Accept Online Payments as a payment gateway, as they have some good features and should have something to suit.
