New business name - please give me some input

Hi everybody.

I'm thinking about a name for a new business i'm starting.

It is a small business development, accounting/management software, resources, marketing/management consultancy, also offer web design.

So far I'm thinking about going for my-small-business.co?

Then the marketing campaign would center around things like "My small business - Accounting software". I feel that this is very personal and engages the customer, giving them a sense of ownership and will develop trust.

One of my friends (who's opinion I value) said he though people would interpret it as being MY small business - meaning... Dylan's small business.

Unfortunately one of these companies that register random domain name has already register my-small-business.com, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth trying acquire this name. I've already registered the domain in RSA.

I would really appreciate your input.

oh,i have seen some websites called my small business,but why not try mybusiness?
maybe big or small!

its got an all right ring to it, but people don't want to consider their business as small, only "expanding".

If you could centre your thesis around growing I think the name would be better.

I know what you mean about people don't want to think about their business's being 'small'. In actual fact the target market is the micro business owner. What I'm trying to create is a portal, or 'one stop shop' for small businesses...

I have looked up domain names...
I don't see anybody operating under that name - although some of the domains are registered, they are not active.

don't use - in your domain name. if you have have a radio ad, or someone is telling their friend about the site, the - will be left out. Or they'll have to explain it and it'll take away from the name.
