It's fine. But it's not new. Mobile advertising has been around 20 years.

I'm thinking with the price of gas you really better have a strong business plan and some committed customers.

Whoa! I agree, now may not be the best time for mobile advertising.

It would be a good idea if you use the car/truck as a daily driver, to drive around the city right now would be wasteful and expensive.

I had never seen one of those till I recently moved to Arizona about 1 year ago. Very cool, probably costs too much for the buyer when gas goes up

Well if the truck runs on solar power he'd have nothing to worry about. I don't think it's a bad idea, I think if it's a good route then business can't be that bad...esp. in traffic.

I think its a pretty good idea, but its definetely been done. Do you know how much you would sell ads for and how many hours of exposure they would get?

well from what other owners are selling them for they range from 1300-1700 including production and most are exposed for about 9-10 hours per day mon-fri. some also offer weekend and nigh packages as the billboards do have backlighting to look like LCD screens

i would hold off on that for a bit, at least until the economy gets better. 1, as everyone said, gas price is going up so the only way to offset that is to raise advertisement prices...which leads to 2, when businesses slow down, the first thing to be budgeted is marketing. you get the idea..
