If you can continue to grow your business while making money elsewhere then I would take the job. In your new job, you may meet people and learn things that will really help your own company grow. All of my web ventures are currently a side business. Then again, I'm not making 6 figures off of them.

Well... What are your long term goals? Where do you want to be in 10 years?

This is what I would do if I was in your shoes:

Personally, I want to build my own empire, instead of contribute to someone elses. If I was already making plenty enough money to live comfertable, I would not take the job.

The way I see it, taking that job would hold me back from my true potential. I would always wonder what I could have done if I kept building my own empire. could I have been the next Tom?? The next Mark Cuban??

If you're working for a corporation, you're no longer working for your self. And these billionaire entreprenuers we all know about aren't working for a corporation, they OWN the corporation.

It just depends on how high you have set your goals. Either way, it sounds like you're aleady set for life Steve. Congrats on all your success. You're an inspiration.

I would say do what feels right with you.

Personally I hate working traditional office jobs esp. for someone else.

And also ask yourself if you have potential to make even more money than what they are offering you if you grow your business and or start another business.

Are you an entrepreneur at heart? Or will you be content with a cush job and a nice lifestyle (though not extravagant).

I think many people would choose the job, it's easier to be a follower than a leader, and less risky.

PS Also look into hiring someone to run your business for you and keep both.
