Need some promotion advice

Hello, I had a little idea creep up in my head today, If I came into your small local business and asked you to let me promote it for a special even (veterans day, fourth of July or just a weekened) with like a free car wash with every purchase or whatnot and said that I would do it for free as long as you give me a good recomendation to the next. would you do it? It costs you nothing and you have everything to gain, so why wouldnt you? Later down the road after four or five of these then I could start charging a percentage of the days profits for the event, I just need good refferalls. What would you say?

I think its a good idea, people make a lot of money doing event promtions,concert promoitions, entertainment promotions etc.

Only do it if you are 100% commited!
