    Need some feedback on this concept?

    I'll try and keep this straight to the point....the concept is to start a company that specializes in a certain niche of advertising. The idea involves 2 parts - a restaurant and the advertiser. My company would handle the logistics of connecting those 2 parts. For example = Applebee's would feature a specialty food item on their menu such as the Chicago Bears Superbowl Bacon Cheeseburger. Another example would be the Pizza Hut Nike pepperoni pizza, which would be a pizza that had cheese and pepperoni and the pepperoni would be in the shapes of the Nike swoosh.
    So the idea is that both parties would benefit - the restaurant would have increased sales and the (company, sports team, athlete) got to advertise their name.
    So what do you think?

    I think it would work. But, you would have to have an agreement on both sides of the bases. The advertising would have to be out of the air, like bulletins and t.v.'s, and you would have to have a good enough product to handle both sides of the towers.

    I think if a famous star where to come in the buss. that liked the foods and alot of people liked the person to.Then you could come up with the products name. That would be another idea.

    It would work out if it was delicious too!

    It's interesting. But I think you would find a lot, if not all, higher end restaurants would not go for this. More so mid to lower end type restaurants or fast food chains. McDonalds sometimes gets ads from Film advertisements. I remember a really long time ago. McDonalds featured the "Hero Burger" and Batman was what they were advertising for the month. Film companies pay millions of dollars for ads, just like Nike or any other company.

    Good idea. Would be hard to tie two companies together tho. I would think that companies like Nike and their marketers have already thought of this, but u never know.
