Im 16 and I love business and I love kart racing. I finally decided that I should combine the two instead of continuing in the ecommerce route. I believe I have some excellent ideas but not sure what path to go down. My first idea was to try and compete with www.ekartingnews.com and create online information about the kart racing aswell as a forum and some other features. www.ekartingnews.com from what I can see does over $250,000 a year strictly from advertisments that are placed on the site. ekartingnews is the only kart site that offers so much and they even have their own magazine. From my business plan I figure I will run the business for 4-6 months without making a dime. Then I plan to make $60,000 a year starting after the 4 to 6 month period. The site to be built will cost me between $10,000 and $12,000. Or my other option would be to develop more of a niche in kart racing and focus just on one idea wether its a kart classifieds site, a tech site, a new to karting site. This plan is a safer route but doesnt have as much room to make a lot of revenue.
