    Need Help With Business Name

    Hi everyone,
I started up a small lawn care business about 2 years ago, eveything is going strong! at this point I am mostly focused on lawn care not so much landscaping. It is now time for me to start looking for a legitimate name. I feel like I have thought of hundreds of names but none of them really POP!, So I am hoping that I might be able to hear a few of you're guys ideas/suggestions.

I've always found the online brand name generators to be useful.

The first thing that came to mind was something with the word "Green" in it...as cheesy as that may be.

If you're going to use "Cutting Hedge", add a "The" to it, it sounds cleaner. You could also try Cuttin' it Close. I like that one as well.

Hi are you planning to use this name to promote yourself online? If so you need to do a keyword search for a name that you can dominate. If your want to have search result in business you can not pick a name that does not have enough searches and to many results the ratio is 2000/100,000 that is over 200 searches per month and not over 100,000relevent results.

You could use your own name. Ever thought about getting more customers from your own website. What if you left them a business card with your website information and what if you took picutres of your work and put it online...wouldn't that increase your business. I bet, it would.

You can use Google keyword tool for the keyword that you want. Then you can just add any name into it.

What street do you live on? Could that play a role? Do you have any favorite flowers? Could you incorporate your name?

I think the biggest issue you will run into is the branding of your company. People constantly second-guess themselves when it comes to this if they are the ones doing it. If you have a few extra dollars, hire someone from odesk or elance to come up with 100 viable options and start narrowing down.
