Ok, I'm going to need a $10m signing bonus, a G5 that can be made available with 30 minutes notice, and a country club membership.

Seriously though, you're a retail operation. Worry about getting operational, focus on sales, and then start worrying about hiring executives.

You do realize wireless retail is more profitable than most businesses and the fact that wireless is one of the few industry's that are not failing. I have been in this field for a while so have my partners we are not a bunch of idots running a small store were opening 5 right out of the gate with 1-2 a month after.

He's looking for a C.E.O. to expand his operations. He states that the retail operation is 1 to 5 stores strong. Like all wireless companies expand through C.E.O direction.

At least, that's what I got from his last post.

Exactly some people dont understand and people who have been in other fields think retail is a joke while retail is actually what helps every other business run. I use to be a executive for a real estate developer and with out lowes and home depot alot of things would not have gotten done. Retail is the center of business.

Sorry, what do you mean by Wireless retailer? Basically, like Wirefly and sites like that? You sell the phones, you are not a wireless carrier, correct?

I just checked his website. His company is selling wireless phones as well as selling the phone plans of companies like Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon. More like a B2B wireless retailer.

Metro PCS is doing something similar. Only that they are a wireless network provider.

For starters, there are plenty of industries that aren't failing. Secondly, I never accused you guys of being a bunch of idiots, nor did a make any representation about the profitability of wireless retail.

I have been around business long enough to know that many of them fail because of disproportionate scale-up, or excessively rapid expansion. If you want to open multiple locations, hire good managers for each of them. Sales is the nuts and bolts of your industry. A CEO is unnecessary at this point. Stop worrying about titles and surround yourself with a couple of people who are willing to help in all aspects of the business, know how to run a retail operation totally, and are willing to grow with you (most notably in compensation.)
