Need advise - Generate new leads for IT Services Biz

Dear All,

I run a small IT services biz and its currently a one man show. I do software application development/maintenance in technologies like Lotus Notes/Java/.NET/Php for couple of my clients. I do this on a part-time basis as I have a full-time job. Time hasnt come yet to quit my full-time job.

I am thinking of ways to generate more leads from the INTERNET in the above technology areas. Is there any tried/proven technique available (other than PPC, article writing) to generate leads?

Any advise will be helpful.

I have a export trade company specailizing in reselling computers/IT equipment. I'm looking become a VAR by providing pre/post setup support. I don't have the knowledge to do it myself so I was thinking about contracting someone else to handle that part. I would bascially partner with small IT firms to handle the setup/support and I would provide the actual equipment. This would generate consistant revenue for the both of us and I would be able to market my company more aggressively. This is just a thought right now. What do you think?
