Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this website, and after visiting, I started wondering, why the hell did I waste so many years, I could have gained so much if I had known of this website earlier lol
I admit that I have this bacteria of entrepreneurship in me, and it stays active 24/7For years I have been trying to find the right moment, the right idea and the right kind of platform for my Business. I'm by profession a Textile Engineer, currently working in a textile firm that supplies home textile products to various countries. I'm earning a good living, but its not good enough for my personal satisfaction. I want to own a business where I have the liberty to take risks, make crazy decisions, work harder and see it flourish
Coming to the point, after spending all these years, and making and losing small investments into tiny stuff, I finally decided to kick start one thing, and stick to it. So I gathered my resources (as in cash) and started an Apparel Manufacturing Company,
Machines: Done
Workshop: Done
Employees: Done
Samplings & Trials: Done
Orders: None :P
So going through all this, I ended up with 3 options, One- I start my own brand, Two- I look for orders, Three- I make a contract/partnership with a buyer. For first option, that will be starting another business in order to support one business, which is not advisable. For second option, I found its not easy for a newborn fish to survive in a pool of sharks (no offence to the big giants in this field, I respect them all). So it took me to my third option. And I found out, it is most convenient for me and for the buyer, they dont have to worry about the quality differences with various suppliers (once they agree to do business), I have a team of expert people who can help in various fields, there will be no delivery issues or risks as compared to finding a new supplier each time for your order, if a buyer needs sampling for new inquiries, my team can definitely help them out with designs, costs, samples, and even some good marketing plans. So overall, when I analysed, I considered it a win-win situation
And there is so much more I can share, but then I need to know first if someone is even reading it out or not lol.
Cheers,
Jay
