Naming your company and starting B2B deals

    Hi,
Right now I sell silver jeweleries made by local artisans. I have about 5 artisans who produce their jewels and I put them on sale on my site.
I am planning on creating my own brand and then wholesaling the jewels to other shops and boutiques.

I am facing some problem with my brand name. I was planning to call it
    XYZ Handmade Jewels.
I added "Handmade Jewels" to give an idea and a character to the name. For example we see many brands like ABC New York or ABC Paris or ABC Milan etc. But I am wondering if this would create any problems in the long-run. For example what if in few years I find some very good deals on Jewels not fully handmade? Or what if I start selling other things besides Jewelry under the same brand? What do you guys think I should do? Should I just go with a simple name and forget about a one-liner? Or should I pick something else?

And I would like to wholesale these jewels to boutiques and shops as I do not have enough capital to start my own for the moment. I was thinking about starting a website under the brand name and then make a small paper catalog or a flyer. This way when I stop by some shops I can hand them my flyer as well as give them my website as a reference.
Would stopping by some shops a good idea or are their seminars or exhibitions held to demonstrate our products to retailers?

    Thanks in advance.
    H

I can understand the reason to have the word handmade there, but IMO that word is often associated with less scalable, smaller brand, one man company. Not sure if that's the future path you want to pursue, if not, I'd recommend not using the word.

There are things to consider when naming your business. Check also if your desired business name is already registered, you can do this by going to your local business registry.
