I'm currently struggling about what to name my new company. It will be a online retail store.
What is important when selecting a name?
I want to have an original name but I dont want to be unprofessional. I feel certain names provide a little shock value therefore easier to remember, but I struggle with maintaining serious image.
When competing with other stores in the same market, how important is your biz name?
Thoughts and suggestions?

What is the niche you are looking to focus on for the retail store?
Depending on what that niche is...depends on what your name will be.

My niche is sporting goods.
Mostly clothing....think eastbay.com
